Ben Lagrone joined the Board of directors with a long-held passion for education and an enthusiasm to teach. Ben teaches World History at Elkins High School and his wife, Jessica, is a Special Education teacher for the Rogers School District. They both share a strong commitment to increase educational opportunities for young people in Northwest Arkansas. Ben completed his Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Arkansas while studying innovative instructional practices and exploring what elements of a school environment are needed to help low-performing students succeed. He also helps coordinate Global Leadership Interlink for students at the University of Arkansas. Ben spends his leisure time backpacking, reading, or camping with his wife.
