Prism’s K-12 private school program is divided into three separate sections: elementary (K-5), middle school (6-8), and high school (9-12).

In keeping with Prism’s philosophy of education, students are expected to achieve excellence in their academic pursuits. However, Prism’s primary concern is human development, and as such, academic mastery serves as only one subset of the development that we anticipate will occur at Prism.

A diploma from Prism Education Center must represent more than only a minimal standard of academic proficiency, but also signify that the student is prepared for adulthood, and has been trained in and has mastered the values and skills necessary to begin adult life as a productive and contributing member of society.

Prism’s academic program and daily schedule reflects this philosophy. Students engage in an intense, rigorous academic program as well as a broad array of extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. Teachers monitor academic progress as well as the development of leadership, character, and work habits.

Even at the high school level, student graduation requirements reflect this philosophy. Academic proficiency accounts for one of seven areas that students must demonstrate proficiency in order to earn a diploma. These additional requirements help students develop into balanced individuals, while also earning credit toward college or technical programs.
